Experiments

AGATA is a mobile gamma-ray spectrometer installed at major European nuclear physics laboratories for dedicated experimental campaigns. Each campaign typically runs for several years and involves approved experiments using stable or radioactive ion beams.

Complementary
Detectors Systems

AGATA can be coupled with a variety of complementary detector systems to extend its experimental capabilities. These detectors provide additional information on particles, radiation and reaction products, enabling more comprehensive measurements and a deeper understanding of nuclear structure and reactions.
