Partner laboratories and scientific infrastructures

The following resources provide access to AGATA services, collaboration tools, software and related scientific websites.

AGATA Array Construction Database

Dashboards and monitoring tools for the AGATA Array Construction Database.Cécile Aufranc at IP2I Lyon has installed an application at CCIN2P3 called “metabase”, which is able to draw plots of data stored in the AGATA Array Construction Database. The idea is to provide web dashboards for the AGATA collaboration, focusing on some aspects of the database as well as the possibility for any user to build their own dashboards. Here are some links to access the metabase:

AGATA ELOG Servers

Electronic logbooks used during AGATA experimental campaigns. Links to AGATA ELOG servers:

Experiment logbooks created at LNL will be copied to the ELOG server at Orsay, so that one can find them in the two places.

AGATA Mailing Lists

Subscription and archive for AGATA collaboration mailing lists.
https://listes.services.cnrs.fr/wws/subscribe/agata-all

AGATA Monitoring Tool

Detector monitoring and metadata access for authorised users. The new AGATA Monitoring Tool is available from here: http://192.135.30.136:12888

At this website, AGATA users can monitor various parameters of the array as well as recover several types of meta-data after their experiment. The database is slowly being
improved.

Please contact Alain Goasduff at LNL to obtain the credentials for login.

Cubix

Open source ROOT based graphical interface providing a large number of tools for gamma-ray spectroscopy analysis. It is linked with the TkN library to provide a direct access to nuclear databases like ENSDF, XUNDL or NuDat3.

It allows to:

  • Analyse 1D, 2D, 3D gamma spectra:
    • fit peaks,
    • perform coincidence analysis,
    • estimate backgrounds.
  • Perform angular correlation analysis:
    • plot theoretical distributions,
    • determine transition multipolarity,
    • evaluate mixing ratio.
  • Characterize detectors:
    • energy calibrations,
    • resolution estimation,
    • efficiency measurements.
  • Browse nuclear databases:
    • ENSDF reader to display published values on spectra,
    • coincidence finder
    • nuclear chart browser.

Full installation and operating documentation is available at https://cubix.in2p3.fr.
