We are pleased to announce the Eighth Pre-PAC Workshop for the AGATA physics campaign at the Legnaro National Laboratories (LNL). The workshop will take place on July 8–10, 2026 and will be held in person, with the possibility of online participation.
This Pre-PAC Workshop will be the first one to consider projects for the zero-degree configuration of AGATA. The zero-degree campaign will be divided into two main sub-campaigns, in which AGATA will first be coupled to the neutron detector array NEDA, followed by a campaign coupling AGATA with the PARIS phoswich detector array.
The forthcoming LNL PAC meeting is planned for fall 2026 and will evaluate experiments to be performed from early 2027 until the end of July 2027. AGATA is expected to consist of a minimum of 10 triple clusters; depending on the availability of the new electronics this number may increase.
